McWhorter House Museum
Monday, August 15, 2016
The house was built in 1906 and is furnished to reflect life in the early 1900's.
Dr. McWhorter was an early Miller physician (NOT the first) who started the first hospital in Miller. (That is his claim to fame.)
The museum was opened in 1989 as a community project to celebrate the state's centennial.
It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2017.
